Masculine Row Sunset Blocks
Today I am participating in the following challenges: CAS(E) this Sketch #178, CASology #204: Row, and 613 Avenue Create Anything Goes with an optional summer twist. To make this Clean and Simple card I used the Plant Hope and Express Yourself stamp sets and colours Smokey Slate, Marina Mist ,Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Pool Party, Memento Black, and Whisper White.
For the Row theme I used a row of rounded rectangles sponged in Smokey Slate, Marina Mist, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, and Pool Party. I feel like these colours are sunset colours on the ocean. I did them in this order as it made me think of clouds (Smokey Slate) fading into sky (Marina Mist) and sunset (Crisp Cantaloupe) over serf (Pistachio Pudding, and Pool Party). I added a palm tree to topoff the sunset and ocean beach feel I was going for. I also like that these colours are masculine so I can give the card to a man.
Here is a close up on the card focal point.
To make the row of squares I used a mask I printed with my Silhouette Cameo.
Here is the sketch, and inspiration for this card:
Thanks for stopping by,
Stay creative my darlings,
